The key to any type of Self - Care is that it brings you JOY! ๐Ÿคฉ And not done out of obligation.

Physical Self-Care

Taking care of our bodies is main component of Self-Care. This doesnโ€™t necessarily have to include a vigorous exercise routine.

Some Ideas: Going for a bike ride ๐Ÿšฒ , Going for a walk ๐Ÿšถ , Eating more fruits and ๐Ÿฅฆ ๐ŸŠ, Taking a long bath ๐Ÿ›€๐Ÿฟ , Sleeping/Resting ๐Ÿ›Œ , Doing some stretches ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ

Emotional Self-Care

Emotional self-care is about becoming more in tune with out emotions. Its about checking in with yourself, becoming more mindful of your triggers and thinking patterns, and finding ways to work through them, rather than bottling them up inside.

Some Ideas: Journaling ๐Ÿ““ , Mindfulness and Meditation ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ, or Daily Affirmations. Being creative such as expressing yourself through Painting ๐ŸŽจ , Music ๐ŸŽผ, Writing โœ๏ธ, Cooking ๐Ÿฅ˜ , an act of kindness, Playing a game ๐ŸŽฎ, or Dancing ๐Ÿ’ƒ like crazy!

Spiritual Self-Care

Spiritual self care doesn't necessarily have to relate to religion, although it can for some people.

When you practice spiritual self-care, you are nourishing your soul, you are striving for inner peace and you are seeking to find purpose and meaning in life.

Intellectual Self- Care

This type of self-care includes doing something you enjoy that nourishes and challenges your mind. It expands your knowledge ๐Ÿง .
